Intermediate Hydrogeologist (P. Geo)
Overview:
We are seeking an Intermediate Hydrogeologist to join our team out of our Vancouver, BC office. The successful candidate will be working on projects across Canada, with a focus in British Columbia and the North.

Role Responsabilities:
- Lead field investigation programs, collect and analyze field data, communicate, and coordinate with clients and contractors
- Conduct borehole logging, monitoring well installation, maintenance of groundwater wells, hydraulic well testing, and surface water and groundwater sampling
- Evaluate groundwater flow and chemistry data
- Experience conducting hydrogeological assessments, seepage analysis, and dewatering evaluations
- Prepare technical reports
- Support preparation of proposals, scope development, and cost estimates
- Maintain up to date working knowledge of regulatory requirements, site assessment guidelines, and permit application processes
- Experience using industry standard modeling software packages including MODFLOW and hydrogeological software packages including Leapfrog is considered an asset; and
- GIS skills are considered an asset (e.g. Q-GIS).
Skills & Qualifications:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Geology, Earth Science, Hydrogeology, or Engineering
- Registration (or eligibility for registration) as a P.Geo or P.Eng. in BC
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (experience in consulting an asset)
- Flexibility to travel for fieldwork in remote areas
- Ability to manage project workload and meet deliverable deadlines
- Strong technical, oral, and written communication skills
- Adaptable and able to work independently in various environments when required
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with multi-disciplinary teams to solve problems in a timely manner
- Valid driver’s licence; and
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols
