Junior hydrogeologist (Hydrogeologist-in-Training) / Hydrogeological Technician)
Overview:
We are seeking an Junior Hydrogeologist to join our team out of our Vancouver, BC office. The successful candidate will be working on projects across Canada, with a focus in British Columbia and the North.

Role Responsabilities:
- Assist/lead in borehole drilling, lithology logging, and groundwater monitoring well installation programs
- Conduct groundwater monitoring and sampling programs
- Conduct single well response tests, and aquifer pumping tests
- Install, monitoring and sampling mini‐piezometers as well as assess groundwater/surface water interactions
- Support preparation of proposals, scope development, and cost estimates
- Working collaboratively and communicating effectively with the project team and mentor.
Skills & Qualifications:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Geology, Earth Science, Hydrogeology or Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (experience in consulting an asset)
- Ability to manage project workload and meet deliverable deadlines
- Flexibility to travel for fieldwork in remote areas
- Strong technical, oral, and written communication skills
- Adaptable and able to work independently in various environments when required
- Team player with good organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with multi-disciplinary teams to solve problems in a timely manner
- Valid driver’s licence; and
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols
