Regional Municipality of Halton

Municipal Water Infrastructure Project Review

Strategic environmental and permitting advice for advancing water infrastructure projects

The Regional Municipality of Halton (Halton Region) is one of Canada’s fastest growing municipalities.  In order to support this rapid development, the region is undertaking an ambitious water and wastewater infrastructure upgrade and construction program.

Palmer Environmental Consulting Group Inc. (PECG) was retained by Halton Region to provide peer review services to support its engineering staff in permitting and environmental management for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.  PECG’s role includes providing advice on Permits to Take Water (PTTWs), the interpretation of changes to the federal Fisheries Act, and O.Reg 162/06 permitting with Conservation Halton.

This project is currently ongoing.
