Navigating environmental regulatory processes to advance toward mine development

Canarc Resources Corp. (Canarc) has 100% ownership of the past-producing, high-grade, 1.1 million oz New Polaris gold mine project located 100 km south of Atlin, in northwestern British Columbia. Canarc is considering a feasibility program, while permitting for advanced exploration is underway.

Palmer Environmental Consulting Group Inc. (PECG) was retained by Canarc to lead the baseline, environmental assessment and permitting process. PECG’s specific tasks include project management for the baseline and environmental assessment program, development of site-specific water quality objectives in support of water discharge permitting, and participating as an advisor for access road and barge development.
