Overview

Our Toronto Office is seeking an Office Administrator for a part-time (16 hours/week) opportunity.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
– Sourcing and supervising contractors for office maintenance or repairs
– Setting up computers for new hires
– Onboarding and offboarding
– Fixing and troubleshooting office equipment (printers etc.)
– Printing and binding reports when needed
– Organizing couriers and receiving deliveries
– Receive and distribute incoming/outgoing mail
– Ordering stationary, equipment, and other supplies
– Organizing and maintaining office files, and records
– Cheque deposits
– Receive, screen, prioritize and redirect incoming calls on the office phoneline
– Office management, and other ad-hoc requests
– Assist the Accounting department with ad-hoc assignments, as required.

Requirements

– Ability to prioritize and to multi-task as to meet deadlines.
– Ability to follow instruction, willing to learn and develop new skills.
– Must be able to demonstrate flexibility and act independently using sound judgment when taking initiative on a wide range of issues.
– An analytical thinker, problem solver and self-motivator.
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Must be tech-savvy and able to resolve technical issues.
– Strong comprehensive administrative skills.
– Knowledge/experience of general office administrative practices and procedures.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
– Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.

The position is 16 hours week and requires to be in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, to collect mail and packages, accept deliveries, deposit cheques, and perform general office maintenance.
